After our “Adventures in Dealing with Flat-out-crazy Hosting services”, we’ve been fortunate to partner with a company that is both a.)sane and b.)actually provides the service we are paying them for. For the last three weeks, we’ve been stress testing the servers and LBX Database, to ensure that the recovery and reconstruction of user info is thorough and complete.
Simultaneously, we’ve been testing the new version of the client application, which has a non-trivial number of upgrades and feature additions to it. We’ve about reached the ‘point of release’ but before we do, we need your help!
We need a number of existing LongBox Digital users, to do “in the field” testing to ensure that we’ve covered all of the variables, configurations, and combinations that are present in having an international user base in 40+ countries. - Users that signed up for an account after November 7th, 2010
- Users that have purchased or downloaded at least 3 books.
- Users who have previously not signed up
- Users have not been active since September 2010
If you don’t fit these criteria, and are still interested in helping, we’re glad to have you aboard, but please understand that this is on a “first come-first served” basis, and once the 50 slots are filled, that’s it.
