Zero Telemetry & Local Storage: Longbox does not collect, monitor, transmit, or sell your personal data. We do not track your reading habits, monitor your file structures, or upload your library inventory to any remote servers. The Longbox application operates entirely within a secure, local Apple Sandbox on your Mac.

Third-Party AI Integration: Longbox includes an optional "AI Search" feature. This feature is completely disabled by default. If enabled, Longbox acts solely as a conduit to your chosen provider; your API keys are stored securely inside your Mac's native encrypted Keychain.

Data Modification & Sovereign Archival: Longbox provides professional-grade tools designed to structurally modify your digital files. By using these features, you acknowledge that you are initiating destructive, format-shifting operations on your own local files.

Liability: Longbox Digital Inc. is not liable for any data loss, file corruption, or unintended deletion of files resulting from the use of this software. We strongly advise maintaining secure, external backups of your physical archive.
